Terms and Conditions | Pivemon Coffee Brisbane
Pivemon keeps this page plain and readable: it explains what we collect when you order coffee, book a table or browse the site, why we keep it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. If a line below feels unclear, ring us on the number at the bottom of the page and one of the team will walk you through it.
Using this site
By browsing pivemon.com you agree to these terms. The content describes what Pivemon does: a coffee bar on Queen Street, barista classes, and mobile catering around Brisbane. You are welcome to read it, print it or link to it. Copying our text or photos into your own site or advertising is not allowed without written permission.
Bookings and classes
A booking is confirmed when we send written confirmation and, for catering, when the deposit clears. Class places are held for 48 hours while payment is arranged, then released to the next person on the list. If you arrive for a class more than 15 minutes late the trainer may not be able to fit you into the machine rotation, and the place counts as used.
Prices and payment
Prices on this site are in Australian dollars and include GST unless the page says otherwise. Catering quotes stay valid for 30 days because green coffee and dairy costs move around. We take card payments on site and bank transfer for invoices. A 30 percent deposit holds a catering date, and the balance is due within seven days of the invoice date.
Cancellations and refunds
- Barista classes: move to another date free of charge if you tell us more than 48 hours ahead. Inside 48 hours the fee is not refunded.
- Catering: the deposit comes back if you cancel more than 14 days before the event, minus the cost of any stock we have already ordered for you.
- If we cancel a class for any reason, you choose between a full refund and a place on the next available date.
- Refunds go back to the card or account that paid, usually within five business days.
Our responsibility
We work to keep this site accurate and the coffee consistent. We cannot promise the site will never go down, and we are not liable for losses that come from a broken link or a page that has fallen out of date. Where our catering equipment damages a venue, our public liability insurance covers the repair. We do not accept liability for indirect losses such as lost profit on your own event.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any dispute goes to the courts of that state. We update the terms when our services change, and the version live on this page is the one that applies to your booking. If a single clause is found unenforceable, the rest of the document still stands.
Questions about anything on this page can go straight to our team. Email pivemon@hotmail.com and we will reply within a couple of working days.
