Cookie Policy | Pivemon Coffee Bar Brisbane
Pivemon keeps this page plain and readable: it explains what we collect when you order coffee, book a table or browse the site, why we keep it, and how you can ask us to change or delete it. If a line below feels unclear, ring us on the number at the bottom of the page and one of the team will walk you through it.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website leaves on your device so it can remember something between visits. Some last until you close the browser, others stay for months. They are not programs and cannot read other files on your computer.
The cookies we set
- Cookie notice choice stores whether you accepted or declined the notice. It sits in your browser's local storage with no expiry date and disappears when you clear site data.
- Booking form session keeps what you have typed while you move between fields, so a refresh halfway through does not wipe the form. It expires when you close the tab.
- Page preference remembers which section of a service page you last looked at. It runs for 30 days.
Analytics
We use a small analytics script to count visits and see which pages people read. It records the page address, the referring site, roughly where in the world the visit came from and the device type. We do not connect any of that to your name or email, and we run no advertising trackers. If you decline the notice, the analytics script never starts.
Third party services
Opening the map on our contact page loads a Google Maps embed, and Google may set its own cookies at that point. Paying a deposit can take you to a payment provider's page, which follows its own cookie rules. We do not control those cookies, so check the provider's policy if you want the details.
Changing your choice
You can clear the stored choice at any time by deleting site data in your browser settings. The cookie notice will appear again on your next visit and you can pick a different answer. Most browsers also let you block cookies entirely. Blocking all of them will not break the menu or the contact page, though the booking form may lose entries if you refresh halfway through.
